“In 2019, I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis. Since then, I’ve had four surgeries. Four times I’ve gone under the knife, four times I’ve had to piece myself back together. These scars—both the ones you can see and the ones you can’t—mark chapters of resilience that I never imagined I’d have to live through.”
“My body is different now. It looks different, it feels different. But through all the pain, the recoveries, the ups and downs, I’ve grown stronger. I’ve learned to advocate for myself in ways I never thought I could.”
“And yet… if I’m honest, the last couple of years I felt like I lost something. My spark. My mojo. That part of me that lit up rooms and laughed too loud and dreamed big. Maybe you know that feeling—the quiet slip of losing touch with yourself while you’re just trying to survive.”

Here are three of my favourite “feel-good” poses you can try right now:
Pose One
1️⃣ Stand in front of the mirror naked (yes, naked—own it!)
2️⃣ Place your hands on your hips and give yourself a playful wiggle side to side
3️⃣ Lift through your ribcage, push one shoulder forward, lift your chin, and shake that gorgeous hair out!
Pose Two
1️⃣ Plant your feet wide, legs strong
2️⃣ Reach both arms high to the sky
3️⃣ Chin up, eyes up, and don’t forget to smile 🌟
Pose Three
1️⃣ Turn around with feet together, bend one knee
2️⃣ Place one hand on your chest, one on your hip
3️⃣ Squeeze your elbows back, glance over your shoulder
4️⃣ In the mirror say: “Damn, I love YOU!” 💕

Inside are pieces that let you step outside your everyday into a world of glamour and fun.
It’s not about being someone else; it’s about revealing another version of yourself, one that’s always been there but doesn’t always get the chance to take centre stage.
Suspender belts, whips, hats, garters, stockings, and a rotation of accessories that add just the right detail. And fabric! I love fabric.
Fabric can fall across the body like a second skin, hang loose to create lines and movement, or billow into something sculptural.
Draped below the bum, it creates a frame that is minimal but incredibly striking. Sometimes the strongest image is the one with the least going on.
What I love about the dressing up box is how unassuming it looks at first. A few belts, a handful of pieces, nothing that screams for attention. But when you start to layer them, when you combine fabric with the way you stand, with the way light hits skin, it transforms. Suddenly, you’re no longer thinking about your body you step outside of your mind!
Every boudoir session with me at FYEO has its own style.
Sometimes we start simple and strip back until it’s just skin, fabric and light.
Other times we layer accessories until it becomes bold. There’s no fixed path. That’s what makes it interesting — the best photographs are always the ones that happen in the moment.
