Where is your boudoir studio located?
My private bridal boudoir photography studio is near Marlow, just west of London, with easy parking outside. The space is a beautiful boutique chapel designed to feel calm, elegant, and luxurious.
Is the studio private?
Yes, completely. I photograph one bride per day only. When you’re in the studio, it’s just you and me. No other clients, no interruptions, no rushing.
Is it worth travelling for a Boudoir Bride shoot?
Absolutely. This is not just a photoshoot, it’s a confidence-building bridal boudoir experience. I guide you every step of the way with expert lighting, posing, and direction to create artistic, sexy portraits that help you see your body differently.
What should I bring to wear?
Bring 3–4 lingerie sets, including wedding or honeymoon pieces. Heels or wedding shoes, jewellery, and accessories like a garter or veil are welcome. I also have veils you can borrow. Many brides bring a partner’s shirt or jacket for a subtle, intimate look.

Draped fabric over the high beam in my studio is really cool. You can lean into the shapes holding the fabric and it almost defies gravity. It is not quite acrobatic but it is close.
I love these images. I love the romance. I love the femininity of fabric. The way it moves supports and transforms the body.

1. Light
Understanding how lighting affects the way our body reflects on camera changes everything. When we realise that light can stretch, soften, hide or exaggerate, we can finally forgive our body for not looking the way we think it should.
Nothing is wrong with you.
2. How we see
We are taught to look at our bodies like a collection of parts, almost with a forensic eye. Try zooming out. Take a wider, more human view. You are not a checklist of features.
You are a whole presence, a feeling, a story.
3. Movement makes shapes
Your body is not static, so why judge it from frozen moments? We can create infinitely more shapes through movement than we ever see in everyday photos. Curves, lines, strength, softness, flow. Exploring this is a huge part of my photoshoot experience at FYEO Portraits, where your body gets to exist dynamically, not rigidly.
4. We decide
If you believe you have a body worth loving, you are right. If you believe you do not, you are also right. The truth is that we decide. We can celebrate or we can criticise. Let’s choose wisely, because this body is the longest relationship we will ever have with anybody. It deserves kindness. It deserves respect. It deserves love.
