BRIDE 2 BE!

BRIDE 2 BE! STOP LOOKING… YOU’VE FOUND ME.
If you’re searching for a bridal boudoir photographer and you’re scrolling through endless bedrooms, hotel rooms, awkward poses and photographs that all seem to look the same…
Stop.
You’ve found me!
I’m Alexandra Vince, and I’ve been creating bridal boudoir experiences since 2002.
And I’ll be honest I’ve watched this industry change a LOT.
I’ve watched boudoir become a trend.
I’ve watched photographers jump on the bandwagon.
I’ve watched the same poses, the same bedroom setups and the same formula repeated over and over again.
And honestly?
It’s not what I believe boudoir should be.
I believe a woman deserves to feel safe. Directed. Protected. Beautiful.
Not left wondering what on earth she’s supposed to do with her body.
Not expected to know how to pose.
Not lying on a hotel-room floor.
And definitely not feeling like she’s walked into a sales trap.
My experience is completely different.
You’ll come to a dedicated professional boudoir studio not a spare bedroom in my house, not a hotel room.
You’ll be fully guided from start to finish.
Every pose is directed.
Every detail is considered.
Your dignity comes first.
Your privacy matters.
And your images are never shared without your consent.
Because this isn’t just about taking beautiful photographs.
It’s about creating an experience where even the shyest, least confident bride can walk through my door and think:
“I can actually do this.”
And leave thinking:
“Bloody hell… is that really me?”
So if you’re looking for ordinary boudoir…
Keep scrolling.
But if you’re looking for bridal boudoir with experience, artistry, direction, dignity and a studio experience created specifically for women…
Stop looking.
You’ve found me.
I’m Alexandra Vince — Bridal Boudoir Photography Expert.
And I’d love to create the wedding gift that only you could give. Alexandra x

BRIDE2BE, have you ever fantasized about laying down surrounded by fresh rose petals?

BRIDE2BE, have you ever fantasized about laying down surrounded by fresh rose petals?
Well, there’s something really romantic, feminine, sensual, and a little bit cinematic about the rose petal, isn’t there?
And that’s exactly why rose petals have become such a popular addition to a bridal boudoir photo shoot.
When I first opened the the FYEO portrait studio back in 2002, we were experimenting with using fresh rose petals in bridal boudoir shots, and over the years we’ve tried a few different versions of the look, which have included fresh and silk rose petals.
Whether we’re shooting with bright, clean lighting or creating moody, low-lit images, petals add another dimension to your portraits.
For the bridal boudoir shoot, roses can be particularly meaningful, especially when you’re if you’re having roses in your wedding bouquet.
You can bring either a replica bouquet or you can have rose petals that match the color scheme of your wedding in your pictures.
It’s a really lovely way of bringing a little bit more of your wedding day into the photo shoot and into the studio.
If you love the idea of incorporating roses into your shoot, just let me know when you book, and I can add them on for you.

Here are four things I disagree with: 1.

Here are four things I disagree with:
1. Asking clients to lie on the floor
I use a boudoir posing platform which elevates clients off the floor, not puts them down on it.
I would never ask a bridal boudoir client to lie on the floor for a boudoir pose.
To me, bridal boudoir is about creating beautiful, elegant body portraits and lingerie portraits. I don’t believe a woman should be asked to lie down on a floor, particularly while wearing lingerie or nothing at all.
There are countless ways to create powerful, sensual and artistic images without putting a client on the floor.
For me, it’s simply about respect, elegance and how I want my clients to feel during the experience.
To capture the best body shapes, including lifts and arches on film a hard surface is required. It is lazy and down right disrespectful to use the floor.
2. Sharing private client bridal boudoir photographs
I don’t share private client work unless the client has specifically given me permission to do so. And there’s a reason for that. It’s about respect. And trust.
Bridal boudoir is commissioned as a private photographic experience, intended for the client and whoever she chooses to share those images with.
It isn’t a lingerie model shoot.
It isn’t fashion photography.
It isn’t commercial photography.
It’s personal.
And I believe that privacy should be respected unless the client herself decides otherwise.
3. Shit lighting
I use creative professional studio lighting, designed to flatter.
As a professional photographer, I place enormous importance on beautiful, flattering, artistic and creative lighting.
Boudoir photography is about shaping the body, creating atmosphere, building emotion and making someone look and feel incredible.
Putting somebody in a room with flat, boring or poorly considered light and simply taking photographs doesn’t meet my standard.
Lighting isn’t an afterthought in boudoir.
Lighting is the art.
4. Male boudoir photographers
This is probably the most controversial point and I’m very comfortable saying it.
I believe women are best served by a female photographer when it comes to bridal boudoir.
I founded my company in 2002 because, at the tim

Here are three reasons I absolutely love fabric as an accessory for your bridal boudoir shoot.

Here are three reasons I absolutely love fabric as an accessory for your bridal boudoir shoot.
1: The way fabric moves and drapes over your body.
Silky fabrics have a beautiful way of following your curves and creating flattering shapes and silhouettes. It looks incredibly feminine, elegant and artistic.
To create movement, I use my studio favourite wind tunnel, ‘Beyoncé!’, combined with directing you into the pose.
One of the first bridal boudoir shoots I photographed involved a client who brought a beautiful, silky gown. As she posed, she allowed the fabric to fall slightly lower behind her.
The way the light caught her silhouette was incredible.
And that’s something I’ve continued to incorporate throughout my 24 years as a bridal photographer.
Whether the fabric is draped around your body, flowing behind you, or caught in the movement of a pose, it can create photographs that feel almost like works of art.
2: You don’t need to buy anything special.
Your wedding veil can be absolutely stunning in these photographs.
Hold it behind you, sweep it to the side, let it fall around you, or use it to create movement and shape.
And if you want to have a little more fun, you can add coloured fabric to your package.
Imagine bubblegum pink, rich gold, soft champagne or your favourite colour!
Black silk can look incredibly dramatic too.
3: Fabric gives your photographs a real fashion and artistic edge.
There’s something timeless about fabric and the human form.
If you look at classical paintings throughout history, you’ll often see the figure surrounded by beautifully draped fabric creating movement, shape, light and emotion.
Then, on your wedding day, you gift those photographs to your partner with a little note saying:
“Meet me at the altar.”
So, if we haven’t met yet, I’m Alexandra Vince, a bridal boudoir photography expert, and I’d love to create something completely personal for you.
I’ve been helping brides create beautiful, empowering photographs for 24 years, and I’d absolutely love to work with you.

🤗 Bride, let me put your mind at ease.

🤗 Let me put your mind at ease.
I’ve spent the last 24 years photographing women of all sizes and ages, and I’ve built my career around empowering EVERY body.
Curvy or slim. Dress size is simply not relevant in my studio. You will look stunning. Full stop.
And when it comes to retouching, that’s entirely to your taste and easily measurable. You’ll still look like you. I don’t over-airbrush my portraits it’s mainly about the background, with a little gentle tidying up where needed.
Privacy? Absolutely.
All editing is done by me, here on my studio computer. I never share private client work. Another full stop.
And finally, I’ve designed the studio with even the shyest bride in mind.
This isn’t a case of being left wondering what to do. It’s a fully directed and choreographed experience where you simply follow me. I guide you through every pose, every movement and every moment.
So if the thought of a boudoir shoot makes you feel a little nervous, please know this:
You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to be a certain size.
You don’t need to be confident.
You just need to show up.
I’ll take care of the rest. ✨

Your bridal boudoir shoot doesn’t have to be ordinary.

Your bridal boudoir shoot doesn’t have to be ordinary.
Why not add helium balloons for a little extra magic? 🎈
Choose your initials, an important date, a star, a flower, or something completely personal to you.
You can hold them, wrap yourself in them, or incorporate them into your poses. There are SO many creative ways to make them part of your shoot.
Imagine leaving your photos with a little note saying “Meet me at the altar”… or having Polaroids hand delivered to your partner on the morning of your wedding. 💕
Your shoot is completely private, just you and me in the studio. I’ll guide you step by step into flattering, artistic poses and create beautiful imagery with gorgeous studio lighting.
And you don’t need to know how to pose. You can be a complete beginner and still create incredible images.
🌹 My tip: If you’re adding helium balloons, choose rose gold. They look absolutely gorgeous with backlighting and are incredibly flattering against the skin.
Bring your own balloons, or add them as an optional extra to your shoot package.
If you haven’t booked your shoot yet, send me a message and let’s get you booked in.
