The UK’s Best Female Boudoir Photographers 100+ Reviews
I’m Alexandra, a female boudoir photographer and artist based in Buckinghamshire. My journey into photography is deeply rooted in my passion for the arts. Married and mum of two children who are grown up now, I balance my professional and personal life with a great deal of enthusiasm and dedication.
My love for creative expression started with fashion, but I soon discovered the magic of capturing moments through a camera lens. This artistic inclination has significantly shaped my style, combining the elegance of fine art with the intimacy of boudoir photography. I specialise in using light and shadow to create timeless, empowering images that celebrate each woman’s unique beauty.
What drives me the most in my career is helping women feel more body confident. I believe every woman deserves to see herself in a beautiful and empowering light. My boudoir sessions are not just about taking pictures; they are transformative experiences designed to boost self-esteem and body positivity. I strive to break down societal standards of beauty and encourage women to embrace their individuality.
In addition to my work, I have a few hobbies that keep me active and inspired. I love cycling, which not only keeps me fit but also offers a fresh perspective on the world around me. Playing Touch Rugby is another passion of mine; the discipline and teamwork involved in the sport reflect my collaborative approach with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident during their photoshoots.
In my free time, I still find solace in painting. It’s a way for me to relax and draw inspiration for my photography. Balancing my passions for art, sport, and family life makes me who I am—a dedicated female boudoir photographer and artist committed to celebrating the beauty and confidence of every woman I work with.
I’m Sheridan Stone, a mum of four and a passionate makeup artist based in Buckinghamshire. My life is a beautiful blend of creativity, glamour, and family. I have always been drawn to the world of beauty and transformation, and I find immense joy in helping women feel glamorous and confident.
Working alongside Alexandra, a talented female boudoir photographer, in the FYEO studio, I get to witness firsthand the incredible impact a boudoir photoshoot can have on a woman’s self-esteem. My role is to enhance this experience through the art of makeup. I love using top makeup brands like MAC, Bobbi Brown, and Charlotte Tilbury to bring out the best in every client. These brands offer a wide range of products that allow me to create looks that are both stunning and tailored to each woman’s unique features.
One of my greatest passions is teaching women new ways to apply their makeup. I believe that with the right techniques and tools, every woman can discover a new level of confidence. During our sessions, I take the time to show clients how to enhance their natural beauty, offering tips and tricks that they can use long after their photoshoot. Seeing the transformation and the boost in their confidence is incredibly rewarding.
In my spare time, I love to unwind by walking my dog. It’s a simple pleasure that helps me relax and recharge. Balancing my career with family life and personal time is important to me, and I cherish every moment.
Being a part of the FYEO team is more than just a job; it’s a passion. Working with Alexandra, our skilled female boudoir photographer, allows me to combine my love for glamour and creativity with my desire to help women feel beautiful and confident. It’s a privilege to work with so many amazing women and to play a part in their journey towards self-love and empowerment.
I refused to give my husband the bridal boudoir gift he was probably expecting…
When I got married for the second time at 49, I knew my husband-to-be would probably expect beautiful bridal boudoir portraits from me. After all, I’m a bridal boudoir photographer!
So I decided to surprise him instead.
Rather than wearing bridal lingerie, I chose fun, playful costumes—a nurse, a police officer, bondage-inspired outfits—and created something completely unexpected.
Then I made the way he received them just as memorable.
I printed the photographs just larger than a Polaroid and hid them around our hotel room the night before our wedding. In his wash bag. His overnight bag. His jacket pocket.
Watching him discover them one by one was so much fun.
Weddings are often centred around everyone else—family, guests and traditions. But this was something that belonged only to us.
That’s what I love most about bridal boudoir.
Yes, it’s an unforgettable wedding gift, but it’s also an incredible confidence boost. Seeing yourself in beautiful light, flattering poses and from a completely different perspective helps you see yourself as a whole person—not just the parts you’re tempted to criticise.
If you’re getting married and want to give your partner the one wedding gift that only you can give, I’d love to help you create it.
All I need is two hours with you, around two months before your wedding day.
💕 Would you keep it classic with bridal lingerie… or something else like me?

Brides, if you’ve ever struggled with attaching stockings to a suspender belt, here’s the easiest way to do it.
Stockings and suspenders are still really popular with brides here in the For Your Eyes Only Portrait Studio.
Part of my job as your bridal boudoir photographer is to help you get dressed.
I thought I’d just put together a quick-fire guide of how to attach your suspender belt to your stockings.
Each suspender belt has straps which dangle down, and at the end of the straps are a hook and a rubber shape with a circle in it.
So separate the rubber shape from the metal hook and feed the rubber shape behind the top of the stocking.
These are stockings, not hold-ups, which means that you don’t have to fight against the rubbery stocking top.
So as you can see, I’m feeding the rubber shape behind the stocking, and then I’m feeding it into the bigger hole at the top of the metal shape and feeding it down. That attaches nicely to the stocking.
You can see there that the stockings are not too tight. There’s lots of space around, so lots of stretchiness, and that is perfect.
If you haven’t already met, I’m bridal boudoir photography expert Alexandra Vince, and I’m going to help you create the wedding gift that only you can give.
Gorgeous portraits of you. The most beautiful portraits of you that you’ve ever seen. Body shots of you, perhaps with your stockings and suspenders, or your wedding veil draped across your body, or your wedding heels on.
Lots of brides are bringing in ivory or white stockings and suspenders. I’m just showing you this pink one just for fun.

The truth about the Polaroid pictures for the groom trend…
It’s not what you think.
I’ve seen brides try this trend… and I have some more exciting ideas for you.
I’m Alexandra Vince, a Boudoir Bride photographer, and for the last 24 years I’ve helped brides create unforgettable wedding gifts for their partners.
Here are 4 better ways to gift your spicy photos…
❤️ 1. The Night Before
Leave a beautifully wrapped album or photo box with a note that simply says, “Meet me at the altar.” Then leave. Let the anticipation do the work.
📱 2. The Digital Countdown
Send a few images throughout the wedding morning. Start flirty, build the excitement, and leave them wanting more.
📸 3. The Polaroid Twist
Don’t give away all the best shots. Gift a few Polaroid-style teaser prints on the morning of the wedding… then surprise them later with the full album.
🥂 4. My Favourite (and what I did)
Wait until you’re finally alone together after your wedding. Then give them your boudoir album in private.
No interruptions.
No audience.
Just the two of you.
For me, that made it so much more intimate and so much more memorable!!
✨ Save this for your wedding planning, and follow for more Boudoir Bride inspiration.

As a bride was laying on my boudoir posing platform, we were both laughing because she’d just asked me a question I get all the time…
“How do you come up with all these poses?”
People always ask if I used to be a model, a dancer, or a yoga instructor because my posing is so precise. Every movement is guided, from where to place your hands, to how to bend your knee, point your toe, or turn your face.
The truth? It’s a combination of everything I’ve learned throughout my career.
I’ve spent years photographing women’s bodies, studying photography, lighting, fashion, movement, and posing. All of that experience has come together to create a step by step approach that helps even the most nervous brides feel completely at ease.
Because let’s be honest, taking your clothes off in front of a photographer can feel incredibly daunting.
Whether you’re struggling with body confidence, body dysmorphia, or simply hoping to see yourself the way your partner already sees you, with love, walking into a boudoir session takes courage.
That’s why I guide you through every single pose.
You don’t need to know what to do.
You don’t need to know your angles.
You don’t need any experience.
You just need to trust me.
My clients often leave saying they feel empowered, confident, and proud of themselves. It’s that incredible feeling of doing something you never thought you could, and realising you absolutely can.
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Alexandra Vince, and I help brides create beautiful, confidence boosting boudoir images that become the most personal wedding gift they’ll ever give.
All I need is two hours of your time, around two months before your wedding.
If you’re thinking about booking, send me a message and I’ll send you the details of my current special offer.
I can’t wait to help you create the wedding gift only you can give your partner!

Brides have been bringing in these garter belt stocking attachments to wear for their bridal boudoir shoots. They’re so cool because you don’t have to be wearing a matching lingerie set.
Put two hands into the toe of your stocking, and then pull the stocking up with the inside of your palms. Don’t make contact with your nails on those stockings; otherwise, you’ll snag them.
When you want to attach the stockings, if you’re here in the studio with me, I will help you to get those stocking attachments on because they can be quite tricky, especially if you’re wearing hold-ups.
These are hold-ups, so there’s rubber at the top of the stocking, which means that when you’re trying to push the inside of the stocking cloth down into the metal bit, which is basically what fastens it, it can just be a little bit tricky.
If we haven’t already met, I’m Alexandra Vince, boudoir photography expert. I’m going to help you create the wedding gift that only you can give.

✨ BRIDE TO BE you’ve booked your bridal boudoir shoot wedding gift, now comes the exciting part - how do you surprise your partner? 💍❤️
Imagine them opening a beautiful gift box on the morning of your wedding. The first image is an elegant black-and-white silhouette of your body in flattering lighting. The next reveals a little more in another flattering boudoir pose. Each photograph builds anticipation until they simply can’t wait to meet you at the altar. 🥹
Or perhaps you’d rather send your favourite images digitally throughout the day, creating the ultimate countdown to “I do.” 📱✨
For something truly timeless, a luxury boudoir album tells the story of your shoot from beginning to end a keepsake you’ll treasure long after the wedding day.
The way you present your portraits can be just as memorable as the experience of creating them. And the confidence you’ll gain along the way? That’s the greatest gift of all.
I’m Alexandra Vince, and I help brides create the wedding gift that only they can give beautiful, artistic boudoir portraits that celebrate confidence, beauty, and love.

Two weeks after this picture was taken, I was back shooting brides. Leaving my newborn son. That was tough.
Looking back I feel emotional about that.
But by the time my second child was born I had a team of female photographers to run the business so I could take time out to be with my baby.
Here’s the reason why I could do that.
I’d spotted a gap in the market for a scalable photography business - a female led portrait studio offering boudoir for brides to be. Helping them to create a wedding gift.
I knew I could run a business that delivered a sensitive, creative service that would make women feel comfortable and body confident in front of the camera.
I advertised in bridal and vogue magazines. Within a year, the business was booming.
The success and scalability of the business came down to the studio style, the confidentiality and the thoughtful, female led sensitive service.
Brides experienced my signature collection of flattering bridal poses, shot in a private studio at FYEO Portraits by a female photographer.
The poses they experienced were designed around the dynamic qualities of the feminine shape. Poses involved movement, twists, lifts, bends and stretches, to elevate and structure the body into the most flattering angles from each individual body shape. Whatever the brides shape or size.
With simple, stylish backdrops and artistic sculpted studio lighting, the brides body and the photography did the talking.
What I love most about my business is seeing the way it changes the way in which women see themselves.
Instead of brides focusing on the parts of their body they criticised, they see it with love, sometimes for the first time.
You can do the same. Come and see me, I need you for 2 hours, 2 months before your wedding to create the wedding gift, photos of you gift wrapped FOR YOUR EYES ONLY.

🐝 The habits I’m building as a 52-year-old boudoir photographer might surprise you…
For me, growing older isn’t about denying my age. Although some days I’d like to! These are a few of the habits I’m trying, to help me feel better…
Daily dry body brushing…
I absolutely love it. It’s become a mindful way to connect with my body and check in with every little part of it. My skin feels softer and smoother, and the lymphatic drainage benefits are a lovely bonus. I always do it before showering, then apply moisturiser to damp skin and let it dry naturally. I actually learned this little ritual years ago from one of my bridal clients, and I’ve never looked back.
Cheers Chia’s!
Adding chia seeds to almost everything!
Beetroot juice, porridge, yoghurt, smoothies, salads… you name it! They’re packed with goodness, supporting heart and brain health while helping to reduce inflammation. At this stage of life, I’m all for simple habits that make a difference.
❤️ Prioritising intimacy!
As our hormones change, it’s easy for intimacy to slip down the list. For me, it’s an important way to stay connected to myself and my partner. It makes me feel more alive, more present and, quite simply, happier.
✨ Doing things that scare me a little
This definitely doesn’t come naturally! Last night I went into London to a brilliant and empowering talk - Aging Disgracefully @TheIvy, with the utterly fabulous and glamorous @jodalton, @drtam and @emsayle333 I went on my own and met some incredible people, especially Lisa from @menopositive.life and left wondering why I don’t do this more often. Sometimes the best things happen just outside your comfort zone.
Age really is just a number so they say… but feeling your best takes effort! Plus a lot of discipline and desire.
I’d love to know… what’s one habit that’s made a real difference to your life recently?
Love
