If you’re thinking about doing a boudoir shoot as a wedding gift for your fiancé, don’t just think about your outfits and poses…
Think about the lighting.
Because lighting can take your images from soft and romantic… to edgy and sexy. And lots of my brides want both.
Here’s how dark & dramatic lighting works.
Dark and dramatic lighting is one of my signature looks. less light in your pictures can create a silhouette or an outline of your body which gives more suggestion or atmosphere, it’s more moody and it’s very popular here in the Studio.
Another look is the smokey look that’s where I point the bright Studio light at the Camera which creates a sun glare effect to the pictures and softens the way your skin looks in photos. Smokey lighting creates more of a nighttime atmosphere for your shots so you can imagine if you’re wearing something maybe a little bit more risqué- perhaps you’re naked or wearing a bondage outfit, the Smokey light look can be the bridge between you feeling that you might be too exposed or that the pictures look too rude because the lighting adds a really classy edge to the picture
