I’m sensitive, romantic, passionate… and according to my daughter, I probably have ADHD too!
I’ve been running For Your Eyes Only Portraits for 24 years. After studying fashion art & photography, I created a portrait business that grew alongside my little family – my kids are now in their 20’s!
Over the years I’ve experienced challenges that shaped me deeply: my daughter being born with a cleft lip, divorce, and losing my brother to alcoholism. Those experiences whilst sad, help me in the way I connect with people in studio and beyond.
Back in 2002, photographing brides as an intimate wedding gift was revolutionary. It attracted the BBC, newspapers, and brides from all over the world because nothing like it existed inside or outside of the UK.
My passion for photographing the female form comes from my own body insecurities, my love of art photography, and my hopelessly romantic heart that adores weddings.
Today, I work one-to-one with brides in my studio near Marlow, creating a guided studio experience where I help you see yourself differently, beautifully, powerfully, artistically.
I choreograph flattering poses designed to transform the way you feel in your body. It’s more than photographs; it’s a mindset shift.
My influences include Helmut Newton, Annie Leibovitz, David LaChapelle and the pages of Vogue. Ironically, after doing work experience at Vogue, I walked out because I hated the culture. But leaving made me trust myself more than ever.
As a photographer I paint with light, break the rules of studio photography, and create intimate, elegant portraits that become part of your life story.
I wrote a book, The Queen of Boudoir, sharing my startup story and the transformative power of the photoshoot experience.
At 52, I honestly feel at the top of my career.
And if you’re still reading this, maybe you’re meant to come and see me for your own boudoir bride photoshoot!
