I book shoots once or twice a year, and have done for nearly 10 years now, not just as a celebration of how I look, but as a reminder of everything I’ve overcome and everything I stand for.

When I found you two years ago, I was turning 50 and grieving the loss of my brother, who tragically passed at 49. That heartbreak lit a fire in me, a fierce reminder that life is short, and we have to grab every chance to live boldly and fearlessly.

Travelling over 300 miles to shoot with you wasn’t even a question, I knew your style and energy matched everything I was searching for: realness, raw beauty, and a celebration of womanhood that didn’t rely on filters or fakery.

What an incredible evening at @rawtalks ‘Women’s Voices’ event, produced by the amazing Tamsin Napier-Munn and hosted at The Green Room in Henley-on-Thames.

💡 I was honoured to take the stage and share my talk, ‘Change The Lens On Your Life’—a message close to my heart about body image, self-love, and the power of seeing yourself through a kinder, more compassionate lens. This talk dives into how this shift impacts every part of our lives: from careers to relationships and even our sex lives.

⭐️A special shoutout to two very special ladies; @sexcoachbo for sharing her powerful and personal story about why she booked a photoshoot with me, and to Susi, who deeply inspired us all with her story of recovery, resilience and reconnection.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ @zoedoyle._ and I had a fab time catching up in the studio last week creating a sensational collection of new artistic sports themed portraits. This was Zoe’s 3rd shoot with me and we always create fabulous portraits! 📸

@zoedoyle._ is a powerhouse. A world champion, British record holder and empowerment coach. A Masters Athlete, Zoe competes in women’s 45 middle distance. She’s frickin inspirational.

Zoe brought a stunning collection of fabulous jewelled harnesses by designer Lorna Jane to her shoot along with some bold running-inspired looks including a standout Barbie-pink suit 💖

We explored a mix of glamour and athleticism, playing with fabric, movement, and my wind tunnel Beyoncé!

Zoe was completely in her element – confident, curious, and game for every creative setup I had in mind for her. Her favorite part? The chance to wear those unique, special Lorna Jane pieces. And of course, just having fun!

In Goddesses, Joseph Campbell explores the symbolic, mythological, and archetypal themes of the
feminine divine — a celebration of the sacred and transformative power of womanhood.

This same energy is invoked through Alexandra’s @fyeoportraits boudoir photography. Even before women
see the incredible images, they begin to experience a shift. Many arrive already on a journey of
personal growth; the shoot becomes a ritual of self-realisation.

Boudoir photography can serve as a rite of passage — a mirror that reflects our inner goddess. It
allows us to explore feminine archetypes, awaken our life force, and reconnect with our creative
essence.

We become our own muse. We see and feel our feminine divinity. It is a powerful process
of self-acceptance and integration.

💖 Self-Confidence & Self-Love
As an empowerment coach, I help women build deep confidence and self-love. True transformation
begins within. Lasting change comes from nurturing our internal landscape.

🔓 Internal Validation
Embracing our messy, perfectly imperfect humanity means letting go of people-pleasing,
perfectionism, and external validation. Confidence arises when we honour our internal compass —
led by values, intuition, and the wisdom of our Higher Self.

🎥 Throwback to when the BBC filmed a documentary at our studio!

Feels like a lifetime ago—cameras, lights, interviews, and all the buzz. The amazing Lucy Siegel followed the journeys of three incredible women who bravely stripped off for a naked photo shoot at For Your Eyes Only Portraits. And yes, she even stepped in front of the camera herself.

Back then, we were the first to pioneer boudoir photography in the UK, and there was so much curiosity around why women were choosing to be photographed with no clothes on.

What the documentary uncovered was something powerful: it’s not just about the photos—it’s about the experience. The moment you step into the studio, confront your fears, and own your body with confidence… something shifts. Courage and commitment create connection—with yourself, with your body, and with how you see it.

Over the years, my clients have taught me that body confidence isn’t about perfection—it’s about perspective. And that perspective starts in the mind, not the mirror. Like Wayne Dyer said, “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

Even now, years later, we still get messages from women who saw us on The One Show. They’re booking shoots to either celebrate their bodies or reconnect with them—and I couldn’t be prouder.

23 years strong and still helping women see themselves through the lens of love.

🎄 Christmas—a time for reflection, gratitude, and love. Yet this year, for me, it’s also a time of profound sadness. It’s been a tough one, as I recently lost my brother to alcoholism—an unrelenting, silent killer.

Today, I was listening to the radio and heard a discussion about the word nostalgia. Originally, it described an illness, coined to explain the physical symptoms of emotional turmoil in young soldiers—conscripts far from home, haunted by the horrors of war and consumed by homesickness. Over time, the meaning has shifted, and now it’s a word used to describe the fond memories viewed through rose-tinted glasses.

I’ve thought about this a lot today, remembering my brother and feeling nostalgic for Christmases past—those cherished moments filled with laughter and the familiar family banter he played such a big part in.

Hold your loved ones close, my friends. Cherish every moment. We never truly know how long we have together. And remember: you are loved, and you are important.

This Christmas, I’ll be holding my parents extra, extra close and making sure my loved ones know just how much they mean to me.
