Are you a Type A bride or a Type B bride?

Are you a Type A bride or a Type B bride?
Type A:
Not body confident. You know you’ll look amazing on your wedding day, but underneath the dress you know you’ll feel body shame.
Type B:
You’re rocking every curve, secure in your own skin. You know that every inch of you is all woman, and you don’t get hung up about the forensic feminine characteristics of your skin and body shape.
I’m Boudoir Bride Photography expert Alexandra Vince, and I’ve been helping brides create a deeply meaningful wedding gift since 2002.
Whether you’re Type A and looking for more body confidence, or Type B and want to celebrate even more with a beautiful collection of photos as a wedding gift the wedding gift that only you can give OR A MIXTURE IF BOTH come and see me.
I need you for two hours, two months before your wedding day, to create the wedding gift that only you can give.
It’s a wedding gift that will give you loads more body confidence because you will learn to see your body from lots of different poses, lots of different angles, photographed in beautiful studio lighting here with me.

Brides love my boudoir posing studio platform because it creates something so much more than “bedroom photos.

Brides love my boudoir posing studio platform because it creates something so much more than “bedroom photos.”
It creates elegant, artistic, empowering portraits that feel timeless. 🤍
Most boudoir photographers use a bed as the main backdrop, but that style never felt aligned with my brand or the women I photograph. I wanted to create a boudoir experience that feels refined, elevated, feminine, and beautifully artistic without looking overly staged or suggestive.
That’s why I designed my custom boudoir posing platform — and my brides absolutely LOVE it for these 3 reasons:
✨ 1. It creates beautiful, flattering body shapesUnlike a soft mattress, my posing platform is firm and supportive, allowing me to guide you into elegant arches, curves, and elongated poses that flatter every body type.
The result? Images that feel sculpted, artistic, and classy with beautiful posture and luxurious editorial-style lines.
✨ 2. The reflective surface photographs beautifullyThe glossy finish creates soft highlights and reflections that enhance your shape in the most flattering way.
The overall look is clean, minimalist, modern, and timeless. Your body becomes the artwork.
✨ 3. It feels empowering and elevatedYou are literally elevated off the floor — and emotionally elevated throughout the entire experience.
I want every bride who walks into my studio to feel dignified, confident, feminine, and celebrated.
Your session should feel luxurious. Artistic. Transformational.
And if you want something even more dramatic and ethereal, I also offer my signature fabric sessions with flowing fabric, beautiful backlighting, and wind effects that create breathtaking images.
It’s honestly magical. 🤍
I’m Alexandra Vince, Boudoir Bride photography expert, and I help brides create the wedding gift that only YOU can give.
If you’ve been thinking about booking your boudoir experience, send me a DM and I’ll send you details of my current £300 off special offer! ✨

Brides, a quick pause before you scroll… If the thought of being in front of a camera makes you nervous, you’re not alone, most brides say the same thing BEFORE their session with me.

Brides, a quick pause before you scroll…
If the thought of being in front of a camera makes you nervous, you’re not alone, most brides say the same thing BEFORE their session with me.
That’s why I guide you through everything.
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. I’ll direct you step by step the whole way through, from where to place your hands to small movements that make a huge difference in photos.
Whether you’re sitting with the veil around you, standing with it flowing behind you, or holding it in front of you, I’ll help create natural, flattering images that still feel like you.
You’re welcome to bring your wedding lingerie, heels, and jewellery, and I also have veils here at the studio you can use.
The session lasts around two hours, ideally about two months before your wedding. During that time we’ll create around 25–30 portraits, and you’ll choose your favourite images afterwards.
I’m Alexandra Vince, and I help brides create the wedding gift only you can give! AND grow in body confidence.

I’ve been a boudoir bridal photographer for 24 years and here are the 3 biggest mistakes brides make when planning boudoir photos as a wedding gift.

I’ve been a boudoir bridal photographer for 24 years and here are the 3 biggest mistakes brides make when planning boudoir photos as a wedding gift.
Too much white lingerie.White can photograph beautifully, but variety creates a far more luxurious album. I always recommend bringing 3 looks: black, white, and colour.
Choosing only the photos you like.Your partner will often love completely different images than you expect. I’ll help you choose a balanced collection that feels beautiful to you and irresistible to them.
Thinking you need confidence before you book.Confidence comes AFTER the shoot not before it.
Through expert posing, flattering studio lighting, and a supportive experience, I’ll show you a completely new perspective of yourself. Feminine. Beautiful. Unique.
You’ll stop seeing your body through criticism and start seeing it through a lens of love.

Bridal Pose 1: The Reclining Veil Pose 🤍 This bridal boudoir pose works beautifully as part of a groom’s wedding gift box because it feels more like fine art than glamour photography.

Bridal Pose 1: The Reclining Veil Pose 🤍
This bridal boudoir pose works beautifully as part of a groom’s wedding gift box because it feels more like fine art than glamour photography.
Think soft, timeless paintings like Degas or Giorgione’s Sleeping Venus…
✨ Reclining pose creates elegant stretch through the body.
✨ Veil draping gives just a subtle glimpse of skin.
✨ Your partner knows it’s you without revealing everything.
✨ Perfect for curves because it elongates and flatters.
✨ Focuses on shape and silhouette, not “posing perfectly”.
✨ Artistic, classy, and confidently feminine!
One of the reasons brides love this pose is because it builds body confidence while still feeling tasteful and understated.
No heavy glamour.
No pressure to “show it all.”
Just beautiful, artistic bridal boudoir imagery that feels like YOU.
What do you love most about this style of bridal portrait?

3 of my secrets to getting the perfect artistic boudoir bride shot.

3 of my secrets to getting the perfect artistic boudoir bride shot. Part 3 is the most important element of the pose… ✨
I photographed bride-to-be Gemma for Sky Wedding TV after she entered their Bride of the Year competition.
I’m boudoir bridal photography expert Alexandra Vince, and I help women create wedding imagery that feels powerful, elegant, and completely unique to them.
Here’s how I created this boudoir bridal shot…
1️⃣ Styling
As these images were a gift for Gemma’s groom, we styled the shoot using her fiancé’s shirt and tie. It created a personal, intimate feel while keeping the look timeless and sophisticated.
2️⃣ Lighting
I wanted a dramatic, artistic look, so I used my signature clash lighting technique for this black and white image. The lighting highlights and slims the body in a flattering way while enhancing curves, shape, and energy throughout the shot.
3️⃣ The pose
This is the detail that makes the biggest difference. I directed Gemma to stand sideways to the camera, bend one knee, push one hip out, and tilt the pelvis slightly forward. Her hands were positioned on the tie with elbows pushed outward, front shoulder angled forward, and eyes looking in the direction of the body line.
Small posing adjustments create elegant curves, confidence, and that beautiful bridal boudoir feel.
