šøš After a photo shoot, one of my absolute favorite parts of the process is diving into the editing. Thereās something so satisfying about scrolling through hundreds of shots, each one capturing a different vibe, a different moment, a different expression.
š¦ Most of my clients bring 3ā5 outfit setsāheels, lingerie, jewelry, accessoriesāso thereās this amazing variety to work with, and thatās where the real fun begins.
š During the shoot, I take tons of photos in each look. Then when I sit down to edit, Iām not just looking for a pretty pictureāIām watching for magic. I look at facial expressions, body language, energy. I ask: what feels real? What feels powerful? What tells a story?
I also choose whether each image lives best in color or black & white. Sometimes a bold ColourPop shot says it all, and other times, a moody black-and-white edit with deep shadows brings out something raw and timeless.
Putting together an album is one of my favorite creative challenges. Itās not just about picking āthe bestā shotsāitās about flow. Balance. Contrast. Sometimes Iāll pair a soft, sensual image with a punchy, dramatic one just to let them bounce off each other. Editing becomes this dance between light and mood and movementāand I love every second.
Honestly, Iāve been glued to my computer since 7am this morning, fans blasting around me (because, yes, itās boiling!)ābut I wouldnāt trade it for anything. This part of the job? Itās pure joy. āØš»šø
