π₯ Throwback to when the BBC filmed a documentary at our studio!
Feels like a lifetime agoβcameras, lights, interviews, and all the buzz. The amazing Lucy Siegel followed the journeys of three incredible women who bravely stripped off for a naked photo shoot at For Your Eyes Only Portraits. And yes, she even stepped in front of the camera herself.
Back then, we were the first to pioneer boudoir photography in the UK, and there was so much curiosity around why women were choosing to be photographed with no clothes on.
What the documentary uncovered was something powerful: itβs not just about the photosβitβs about the experience. The moment you step into the studio, confront your fears, and own your body with confidenceβ¦ something shifts. Courage and commitment create connectionβwith yourself, with your body, and with how you see it.
Over the years, my clients have taught me that body confidence isnβt about perfectionβitβs about perspective. And that perspective starts in the mind, not the mirror. Like Wayne Dyer said, βIf you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.β
Even now, years later, we still get messages from women who saw us on The One Show. Theyβre booking shoots to either celebrate their bodies or reconnect with themβand I couldnβt be prouder.

π Christmasβa time for reflection, gratitude, and love. Yet this year, for me, itβs also a time of profound sadness. Itβs been a tough one, as I recently lost my brother to alcoholismβan unrelenting, silent killer.
Today, I was listening to the radio and heard a discussion about the word nostalgia. Originally, it described an illness, coined to explain the physical symptoms of emotional turmoil in young soldiersβconscripts far from home, haunted by the horrors of war and consumed by homesickness. Over time, the meaning has shifted, and now itβs a word used to describe the fond memories viewed through rose-tinted glasses.
Iβve thought about this a lot today, remembering my brother and feeling nostalgic for Christmases pastβthose cherished moments filled with laughter and the familiar family banter he played such a big part in.
Hold your loved ones close, my friends. Cherish every moment. We never truly know how long we have together. And remember: you are loved, and you are important.
This Christmas, Iβll be holding my parents extra, extra close and making sure my loved ones know just how much they mean to me.

Brides were (and still are!) booking in to be photographed completely nude β wearing nothing but their wedding veil β creating unforgettable, intimate gifts for their partners.
What a whirlwind that time was! Looking back now, I realise just how exciting (and brave!) it was to have such incredible press attention.
TV & radio crews regularly visited the studio, fascinated by why women were choosing these shoots β and even more so by the empowerment it sparked.
The press were genuinely surprised by how many women were eager to see themselves captured professionally β without filters, without shame.
They came expecting scandal.
They left talking about self-love.
I truly believe it was revolutionary:
