I have a feeling your answer might surprise me…
Back in the day, Brides wanted Boudoir photos to be black and white. But I’m definitely seeing a growing trend towards colour photos in the studio.
Day three of my BOUDOIR BRIDE miniseries is all about colour!
And in a minute, I’ll show you exactly what I mean…
But first, tell me in the comments: what do you prefer? colour or black & white
Colour shots are amazing when we want to really celebrate colour and detail — whether that’s your hair, your eyes, your skin tones or, of course, your outfit.
They’re also gorgeous for those low-lit and back-lit shots, where colour can make skin look beautifully glowing and warm.
And one of my favourite ways to use colour?
After a run of black-and-white images in your album.
You see a few beautiful monochrome shots… and then suddenly, BOOM colour!
It makes the colour image really pop, adds variety and creates that extra little wow factor in your album.
