UK Boudoir Photography

The way we’ve been taught to see them is.

You are not a close-up of your skin. You are a whole woman, energy, presence, softness, strength.

In a boudoir shoot, that’s what we capture.

With the right lighting, angles, and styling, your body looks completely different. Soft light smooths, flattering poses lengthen and shape, and suddenly the things you worried about fade into the background.

Because they were never the focus.

You’re in control of how your images feel:

• Flattering lighting
• Beautiful, intentional posing
• The choice to soften, hide, or keep your stretch marks exactly as they are

Some brides choose to edit them. Some celebrate them.

I usually soften them, not because they matter, but because they don’t define you. They are secondary to the feeling of the image, romantic, feminine, artistic, you.

But I understand why they can feel big.

When I was a teenager, I suddenly got deep red lines on my body. I had no idea what they were. I felt too self-conscious to ask anyone, even my mum. I genuinely thought I was the only one.

It affected my confidence for years.

Then I realised, everyone has them. I’m normal.

That changed everything.

So if this is something you’re worried about, remember:

1. You’re not alone, stretch marks are completely normal, for women and men
2. Lighting changes everything, what you see at home isn’t the full picture
3. They’re a tiny part of you, not the story

This isn’t about perfect skin.
It’s about capturing you, exactly as you are, just before you walk down the aisle.

Stretch marks are part of your story, not something that should hold you back from being seen.

Let me show you how beautiful that can look.
