I’m Alexandra Vince. A proud Gen X mum, entrepreneur and photographer who has spent 24 years building a business while navigating motherhood, relationships, menopause, technology, culture and a constantly changing photography industry.
My company started in 2002.
Since then, I’ve photographed over 20,000 women.
Not 200.
Not 2,000.
20,000.
And I know that stepping in front of a camera in lingerie — especially when you’re about to get married — isn’t just about beautiful photographs.
It’s about trust.
Trusting the person behind the camera to make you feel safe.
To understand that you might be nervous.

I’ve lived through a LOT.

A baby born with a cleft lip.
A son with a pituitary tumour.
Losing my brother too young.

Building teams. Losing people. Corporate litigation.
And all while running a business.
I didn’t build my business from behind a desk.
I built it by putting real women in front of my camera — over 20,000 times — and helping them see themselves differently.
I’ve seen the nerves.
The body hang-ups.
The “I don’t look like those women” comments.
The tears.
The laughter.
And the transformation.
Because I know the woman who walks into my studio isn’t always the woman who walks out.
