One of my favourite parts of a bridal boudoir session is seeing what each bride brings with her. Not just outfits, but little pieces of her story, her personality, and the excitement of what’s ahead. Jodie arrived absolutely glowing and so thoughtfully prepared 💍
➡️ Jodie brought custom sparkly heels she made herself, complete with her new surname and a tiny blue heart for that something blue moment. Such a beautiful, personal touch. Instead of a traditional bouquet, Jodie chose sparkle, because flowers were never really her thing and this suited her perfectly ✨
There were sweet love heart props to add a playful, romantic feel, plus extra heels and cosy socks because comfort matters and having options always boosts confidence. She also brought along an inspiration book so we could explore different moods and artistic styles together and really tailor the shoot to her vision 📖
One of the most powerful parts of Jodie’s shoot was her lingerie choice. A black strappy bodysuit that felt slightly out of her comfort zone at first. After losing a lot of weight, her body tells a story of strength, change, and self acceptance. Scars and all, and fully embraced. Boudoir is never about hiding who you are. It’s about honouring everything that got you here! 🔥
Bridal boudoir is such a special pause before the wedding day. A moment to reconnect with yourself, feel confident, sexy, playful, and proud. You don’t need to know how to pose or feel confident walking in. You just need to show up. The rest unfolds naturally. ✨
Jodie came in excited, and ready to celebrate herself, and the result was something truly beautiful.
