But I didn’t want to.
I wanted to take pictures and feel free. ✨
I wanted to be a professional photographer and work passionately, authentically every single day – not as a side hustle, as a my full time work. Art.
At the start of my career, I realised there were no conventional pathways for me as a photographer. I know many of my peers have felt the same.
My journey was always going to be on the edge, never fully knowing where I might end up. And honestly, that uncertainty became my freedom.
There have been dark days, feeling insecure, scared. With over 2 decades behind me now I can see the rollercoaster with rational perspective and feel strapped in to the carriage!
Through my lived experiences, and my understanding of photography- of how light, shape, movement, and images impact how we feel about our body’s reflection, I found something powerful.
A calling where passion and purpose didn’t just meet, they collided 💥Powertography!
What once felt like a risky idea of opening a boudoir studio back in 2002 – offering n3de or lingerie portraits to the real women of the world – brides, mums, grandmas, the lost and found – the healed and hurting – has become a deeply rewarding way of life for me.
A life as a boudoir photographer that allows me to help YOU feel better about your body, the skin you’re in, your age, your shape. To remind you TO IGNORE negativity in the mind. Because it’s only a thought and a thought can be changed. It’s a decision to change the view to one that works for you. 🤍
In the studio, I like to create magic for you.
Not just beautiful images, but the kind of magic that helps you see the magic in yourself. ✨
“Get a proper job,” they said.
Nah. Never.
Live your dreams, ladies.
We are allowed to want more.
We can discover our magic. ✨
Comment “lookbook” to start your magical journey with me and let’s have some fun! 💫
